Andrés Iniesta Win the UEFA Europe Award
Andrés Iniesta has been voted the winner of the 2011/12 UEFA Best Player in Europe Award, the FC Barcelona and Spain midfielder finishing ahead of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo
• Named Best Player of the Tournament at UEFA EURO 2012 after starting all six games on the left of a front three during Spain's triumphant campaign; also included in the Team of the Tournament.
• Supplied the pass from which Cesc Fàbregas crossed for David Silva to head in the opening goal of the UEFA EURO 2012 final.
• Broke Emilio Butragueño's record of 50 Liga matches without defeat, finally ending on the losing side in game 56 when Real Madrid CF triumphed 1-0 at the Camp Nou in April 2012.
